Julie Atkinson has over 5 years of experience working in healthcare fields including social work, geriatric care, hospital administration, and grief counseling. She has professional experience counseling children, families, couples, and adults both male and female. Julie has counseled clients for issues such as premarital counseling, marital conflict, parent/child issues, divorce care, grief, sexual abuse, relational issues, life cycle transitions, anxiety, and depression. She uses play therapy techniques with children and adolescents.

Julie received her Bachelor of Arts in Religious Education, Pre-Counseling emphasis from Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis, MO. And completed her Master’s of Arts in Counseling from Covenant Seminary (St. Louis, MO). She and her husband live with their 8 year old daughter and 2 dogs in St. Charles.
