WELCOME!

THANKS FOR VISITING!   In my work as a licensed professional counselor, it has been my privilege to meet with men, women, children and youth.  While their stories were different, they shared some of the same things.  One of the most common needs is to have a safe place to be able to sort things out.  Imagine your emotional struggles getting thrown into a bag and all jumbled up together.  I believe the counseling experience is like taking that very precious and private bag of struggles and hurts and beginning the process of sorting through it with hope that something can be done.  What is usually found is that some things are not as big as initially thought — but some things are even bigger than realized.

Another common need is to get an objective viewpoint from someone that is trustworthy, compassionate and strong enough to handle our burdens.  We need someone who will really listen to us and hear what we are saying and then give input on what they believe is going on and offer solid ideas on how to help.

In addition, people need support.  Whatever the problem is, whether it’s a crisis, stress, depression or relational issue, don’t give in to despair or hopelessness.  Never give up!  There is always hope!

So, are you ready for a new perspective?  Are you ready for a change?  Be one of many that say, “I am one of your success stories!  I am really glad to have someone to talk to about this!”

To make your appointment, call Deanna Self at 314.570.5960.  Accepting new clients!

There is no question that some seasons are harder than others.   Some relationships are harder, and some life transitions are harder.   When these seasons come, we need someone who is compassionate to talk to, empathetic, understanding and willing to give us an objective viewpoint.  Sometimes we are ready for a change, but we need someone to help us come up with a plan and the encouragment to be self-disciplined.   Because you are ready for a change, call me today at (314) 570-5960. I look forward to hearing from you!
